The Cathedral in Mazatlan is another of the major attractions in the Historical Downtown area. A beautiful example of architecture from 1875 when it was built, it’s well worth a visit.

The Plaza Machado is one of the many attractions in the Historic Downtown area of Mazatlan (about 15 minutes from El Rancho). It’s a real pleasure to visit during the day or at night. There’s quite a variety of restaurants, and free concerts are offered regularly.

Our pool, like all of our resort, is full of beautiful tropical plants. Palm trees, ivy, and bright flowers that catch your eye are all around you, making it totally clear – “I am not in Kansas anymore!” Indeed you’re not! You’re on the beach, and it’s time to relax!

Our pool, nestled within a ring of villas, is easily accessible. Each villa has its own patio area, with rich tropical vegetation all around. Around the pool are plenty of shaded tables and pool chairs. You can enjoy some drinks from the bar, or an entire meal from the restaurant, or just a cup of coffee in the morning. Or, of course, you can soak up some of the beautiful Mazatlan sunshine!
