Judy shared the following comment on the TripAdvisor site, and we wanted to share it because it really reflects what we most want to achieve – that our guests feel like El Rancho is part of their family, a place where they can relax and be comfortable and enjoy themselves:
My family and friends have been going to the El Rancho since my mother bought into the time share 18 years ago. She “discoverd” the El Rancho while on a cruise with her friends after my father’s death. She was looking for a place to take her family that included 13 school aged grandchildren. If you’re looking for a high rise, posh resort, the El Rancho is not for you. No elevators; only 29 villas in all. The grounds and gardens are immaculate and the pool is nice. The complex is on the ocean with an excellent beach. Lupita, the cook up in the La Fonda restaurant, we believe is one of the best in Mazatlan. Luis, Wiston and Philipe the bartender and servers are wonderful. The front office speaks great English and are always there to help you. We’ve known Pablo the maintenance man since 1990; he’s like family. The El Rancho truly is “family”.
