We asked Barb and Brian for their comments on El Rancho and they shared the following:
We visited El Rancho first about 10 years ago. We returned with our young family as we knew they would love it at El Rancho. They did! That was when we purchase our membership. We purchased at El Rancho because we thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere. We especially like the surroundings and that it is only 28 units. When we come to El Rancho we meet many new people and some are now our friends. It is always sad to leave as by this time we know most everyone in the complex. The staff especially Jose and Lopita in the bar and restaurant make us feel at home and they look after us very well. The office staff too are very personable and helpful. Our last time in Mazatlan we upgraded to Premium Gold and commend El Rancho on keeping the character of El Rancho in tact. That is what people like about it. In time when all the upgrades are complete we think it will truly be paradise.

They also shared that they have had some problems with the reservation process being slow, but I’m pleased to say that we’ve been working to improve that and they are much happier with our service now!
If there was one drawback to our vacationing at El Rancho it would be the background administration. The reservation and booking process was very frustrating and slow in the process. Making it very difficult for visitors to get on with travel plans.Many improvements have been made in the Head office, wherever Tania is, and we had no problem with correspondence and we received very good information. This was a treat for us, the last 5 years have not been so good and it was a pleasure to correspond and discuss things with Tania. She was most helpful.
