We asked Luanne to share how she felt about El Rancho, and she sent us these comments:

It is my pleasure to send this letter of recommendation to you as I love El Rancho! I went to the resort on a friends recommendation and they were so right! The resort is amazing. The staff are helpful, fun and kind, the food is second to none, and the resort is clean and safe! I said that I would become a member if a) the place was clean, b) I felt safe, and c) if I would go to the resort alone (I am single and travel alone mostly). I am so happy to tell you that in all 3 areas the resort was amazing and I became a member!

I have told many friends about the great resort and people. My favorite staff member would be Horacio Patron – he was so kind and explained the membership process so well! He also assisted me when I made my first booking!

The El Rancho Villas are the best – right on the beach and with a fantastic staff who takes care of your every need. The dining area is very nice overlooking the beach and the food is great as well as the selection of food .The El Rancho is set for family fun or couples. I look forward to a return visit. I give many thanks to the staff for a great vacation.

L.A. shared the following thoughts about El Rancho:

An excellent place to stay with real Mexican hospitality. We have spent two months a year there for over 15 years and would recommend it to anyone. The location is perfect for leisurely walks on the beach and an inexpensive bus to town drives right by the door. The restaurant and bar on the premises provide food and drink at reasonable prices. The grounds are attractive and very well kept.

He also added:

1. The location and general atmosphere of El Rancho is what keeps us coming year after year. For us, it is the real Mexico we were looking for.
2. Please keep upgrading the cooking being done in the restaurant. The young man that started this year is doing a fine job.
3. We enjoy all the staff at the resort. They have been universally pleasant and helpful. Our favorite is Maria, our housekeeper. She is outstanding in her efforts to keep the villa shining.
